Regions Field Ballpark

Regions Field Ballpark
Birmingham, AL

As the City of Birmingham continues its revitalization efforts, it was only natural that the Barons return to their native home. Through the combined vision of both the City of Birmingham and the Barons franchise, the new Regions Field Ballpark grew from a dream, to a reality.  NationView, LLC was awarded the $1.26 million contract for masonry on this historic project. Masonry construction began on September 21, 2012. The scope of the project included masonry – brick, block, and cast stone  – for the new 245,434 SF  athletic facility. Regions Field houses three levels including seating for 8,500 people, 23 fully furnished luxury suites, a Parkside Picnic Area for groups of up to 1,500 people, a Youth Sports Zone, an outdoor courtyard area, a banquet hall, and various other amenities including concessions stands, restaurants, and bars.  The facility includes approximately 99,000 brick, approximately 108,000 block, and approximately 400 pieces of cast stone coping making up the interior concourses, knee walls, and exterior of the facility.
