Asbestos, Lead Based Paint Removal, & Demolition of Eight Buildings, Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico
NationView was responsible for the abatement of asbestos and lead-based paint (LBP), and the demolition of eight buildings. All eight structures were demolished in their entirety, including all foundation materials. Asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) were containerized and transported to a regulated landfill for disposal. LBP waste was shipped to the Continental U.S. for disposal. All non-hazardous materials were transported to a recycling center for re-use or, when appropriate, to a construction and demolition landfill located off base. NationView backfilled and seeded all disturbed areas.
Walmart Neighborhood Market Take Over, Helena, AL
NationView was selected to convert a space formerly occupied by a grocery store into a newly remodeled Walmart Neighborhood Market. All of the existing interior walls, plumbing, and mechanical systems were removed from this 141,000 square foot facility. Our team installed new refrigeration and HVAC systems and constructed offices, bathrooms, a pharmacy, bakery, produce counter, and additional inventory space for this new store. The complete interior and exterior walls of the facility were painted and new vinyl composition tile (VCT) flooring and acoustical ceilings were installed throughout the structure. Shortly before the project was completed, all of the existing parking areas were seal coated and re-striped. This project was completed by managing two separate crews, one working during the day and one at night.
